Who doesn’t miss chips when they go hard-core low carb!? I love chips always! As a life-long addict of Tex-Mex Food, chips and queso were not something I was willing to give up. So I was on the hunt for a way to keep chips in my life. I baked and bought everything! We choked down some interesting concoctions, however, when Mission started making their Carb Smart tortillas, I knew we were saved!
Ingredients:
- 1/8 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp chili powder (or to taste)
- 1/8 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 7-8 carb smart tortillas (or other keto tortillas)
- 1 tbsp of oil (we use avocado oil)
- 2 tbsps of lime juice
***Spices can vary. You could use Cumin, BBQ Seasoning, Ranch Packets, Cajun Seasoning, etc…. To name a few
Directions:
- Turn that oven to 400! Do it now or you’ll forget!
- Grease a cookie sheet with butter or spray.
- Cut your tortillas into 8 pieces like you are cutting a pizza.
- Organize your chips on the cookie sheet.
- In a glass spray bottle, combine lime juice and oil.
- Spray chips lightly.
- Season chips
- Bake for 3-4 minutes, turn them over, spray and season again.
- Bake for 3-4 more minutes or until they are your desired crispness.
