About Monica
Our Story
Hi! I’m Monica, but everyone calls me Mo. I’m a 10th-generation Texan, a wife, and a mom. I love to cook and read, but I’m also the person who loves the “skip to the recipe” button. I started collecting “ketofied” recipes 4 years ago when I was told I had type 2 diabetes. So being a true “Southern lady” trained tirelessly by my mother and grandmothers, naturally, I remembered every lesson of poise and manners that had ever graced my ears and… freaked the F out! Then I got to work since I needed to get my A1C back to normal… like yesterday. Meanwhile, both my parents and in-laws decided to retire and live 5 minutes away from us, so suffice it to say, we cooked together a lot with plenty of critics/critques…everywhere. This has been a labor of love, survival, and sanity. Welcome to the collection of recipes that are mother-in-law approved and that old men don’t know are good for them!

I Use My Blog to Help People
Currently, I put out stories about food and healthy meal recipes, especially those for following low-carb and keto diets. I use my blog to help people who were not able to eat well previously. Moreover, my site is open 24/7, and all my content is free for everyone, so please read it anytime and as much as you like.
