After many attempts, some more painful than others, these were my first success with Keto breads! I love them and we never have any leftovers!
Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 ounces cream cheese cut into smaller chunks
- 3/4 cups almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Seasoned salt to taste
Instructions
- Turn that oven to 400! Do it now or you’ll forget! Also, take off your jewelry, this one gets messy…
- Grease a baking sheet with Butter or Spray
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, add mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. In bursts of 30 seconds, microwave cheeses for 60-90 seconds until mostly melted, then mix them completely together.
- In a large bowl, mix together the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and seasoned salt.
- Wash your hands!
- Add cheese mixture to almond flour mixture. Using your clean hands, squish the ingredients together.
- At this point you can opt to place the mixture in the fridge for about 15 minutes. This should decrease stickiness. Or just keep going!
- Roll out dough in between 2 pieces of parchment paper. Try to make it a clean-edged rectangle.
- Cut your triangles (I use a pizza cutter)
- Start rolling up on the longer end so the shorter end is on top.
- Depending on the size, they make between 12-15
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden
